Along the way, he'll run a deadly gauntlet. Goblin-sized blenders. Malevolent (and chatty) ancient artifacts. Demons repurposed as transportation hubs. Hallucinatory giant mushrooms. And trolls with a very specific skincare routine.

If he wins, Rook will become a player character in a world designed to kill him. And if he loses... well, some outcomes are worse than death.
