When the named partner of a small law firm dies leaving a large debt, the remaining misfits of the firm - a budding lawyer, wet behind the ears; a drunk, barred in several states; and a young law student who has failed the bar exam a dozen times - are forced to take on just about any client available, including a litigious soccer-mom who would like to sue God for the death of her husband, hit by a lightning bolt on the 15th hole of a municipal golf course. Batting back and fore between the courtroom and the personal lives of the lawyers, God is a fast paced courtroom comedic drama that uses original staging and non-linear storytelling to provide a lighthearted yet complex social drama.
