Jeremy F. Crowson began working as a production sound mixer when in his mid-thirties, after twenty years as a hobby and occasionally semi-pro musician. Having acquired a solid background in both live sound and recording sound through music, he was approached to run sound for a short film production. The result was a hopeless addiction to making movies, and continued study and experimentation with location sound recording. He also became involved with post production sound editing, sound design, Foley creation, and mixing. He has worked as sound mixer and/or sound editor on multiple short films and features, including production mixer for "Clubhouse," winner of both Canada International Film Festival's "Award of Excellence in Filmmaking" for 2014, and Intendence Film Festival 2014 "Best Feature." He is also currently writing a feature screenplay and is in production, pre-production, and development of several feature films as a producer through his company, Suncrow Productions.
