It traces Girard's deep engagement with the urban landscape, beginning with his early work in Vancouver and continuing through his decades living and working in Asia, where he documented cities such as Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, capturing their shifting social and architectural fabric from the 1970s onward.
