Erich Wildgrube was born in Newark, NJ in 1958. While he was raised in a Catholic home, by the time of his Confirmation had rejected his family's faith. After having served in the US Air Force, training as an equipment operator with the Army Corps of Engineers, Erich found himself driving over the road for an armored car company. On November 14, 1982, Jesus appeared to Erich in a static vision of Himself. This experience catapulted Erich into an exhaustive quest for the keys to a real relationship with His Savior. Through churches, books, and pastoral counseling, Erich gleaned small bits of truth everywhere he landed. Sustained peace and Joy, however, were always just beyond his reach.
