Treana Latese Newsome is an African American freelance illustrator and writer. Her passion is to produce beautiful imagery inspired by vibrant colors, magical elements, and joy. She graduated from Jacksonville University with a BFA in Illustration. When she's not illustrating, she loves to play video games and hang out at the library. As a Black artist, every single piece she draws is her attempt to promote a world where Black and Brown children are seen, heard, valued, and validated.
