- Age appropriate for 12+ (many have told me 10+ but I implore parents to do their due diligence to make an informed decision)

- Language is also very clean, with no swearing other than one use of the word 'hell'. There is violence and descriptions of fight scenes between undead creatures like banshees, undead warriors, and some mild descriptions of wounds

- The first half of the book has been described as cozy, while the second half is faster paced, with more action and some darker themes
