Jim DeVault is a writer and filmmaker living in the Dallas, Texas area. As a filmmaker he is the creator of numerous productions, mostly in the horror and thriller genres, since he began feature production with the release of The Sisters Four in 2008. Before that he had an extensive background in art films dating back to the mid-1970's. As a writer he has authored both fiction and non-fiction, including the novels Darling Emily, The Zhen Trilogy, and Pastor Rabbitt's Revival. His non-fiction works include a book on low-budget filmmaking, and books about his love of cheesy B sci-fi and horror movies, all published by Pixie Wit A Gun Press.
