Jolanta Burke, PhD, is a psychologist specialising in Positive Psychology. She received her PhD from Trinity College Dublin and is currently a Senior Lecturer and an Associate Leader of the Masters in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology programme at the University of East London. She loves working with students and seeing them grow. She supervises their work in a wide range of Positive Psychology-related areas. Jolanta is passionate about Positive Psychology and her mission in life is to help people understand and use it effectively in their lives. She appears regularly in the media, writes extensively for both magazines and newspapers, such as the Guardian and the Irish Independent, and frequently speaks on radio and at various events around the world. A few years ago, she hosted a popular weekly radio programme about evidence-based well-being, and was acknowledged by The Irish Times as one of 30 people who make Ireland happier.
