He Wasn't Ready: The stuff they never told men about (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798338365878)

Toxic masculinity, pressure to perform, dehumanisation, mental health, silent suffering, struggles with emotional control, anger, lack of belonging! All of these things are what men deal with daily!

HE WASN'T READY is an open and vulnerable discussion about some of the elephants in the room concerning manhood; the pressures, expectations, toxicity and burdens that we have to deal with, which quite frankly, we weren't always prepared for as men.

The reader is taken on a journey of inner thoughts, discussions and more importantly learnings around the hot topics and how the writer has found solace in understanding their pain but also hope in the practicality of a better future! This journey is intended to constantly lead the reader to a place of realisation, reflection and then rehabilitation so that we can see a generation of men who are healed and human.
