Heaven for a Predator (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781763687417)

At the end of the world, there is unlife.

Embrace vampire politics, blood feuds, and the hunted in Heaven for a Predator. Furii is a bounty hunter of the elite Hellstorm clan, tasked with hunting the poor starvation addled bastards known as autophages. Those who feed on themselves. They are mindless creatures, vicious and stronger than the average vampire. Then, one of her bounties introduces herself. Autophages don't talk. Yet the sheriff insists she must die. Can Furii kill a sentient being?

What will Furii do when her whole perception of the world is turned on its head? And why is the deadly Duchess Du Mort sending her e-mails?

Furii must fight her way across the wasteland to save a tribe from extinction and rescue a man in distress, while in the shadows lurk autophages and bandits alike who want her dead.

Blisteringly fast paced in an urban fantasy world, Ysadora Sonderling's debut novel features corrupt politics, class war, and tackles issues such as racism and poverty in high stakes circumstances. Combining paranormal elements with a hint of romance, this novel also has overt LGBT+ characters and the ultimate femme fatale power duo.
