Jill Gellatly is a Farm Manager and life long rider. She lives in Grand Valley, Ontario with her husband Brian, her horses and her new Wheaten Terrier, Thomas of Grey Bruce. When she was eight years old, Jill started pony club and became devoted and thoroughly committed to everything equine. She received her BHSAI at Porlock Vale Riding School in Somerset, England. For years she evented at the National level. She is a member of the Eglington Caledon Hunt Club, having moved there from the Toronto and North York Hunt Club when she and her family first moved to Grand Valley in 2004. She loves breaking and training young horses. She believes this process has taught her patience and perseverance. Jill has three adult children and three beautiful grandchildren with whom she loves to share her horsey adventures. Jill started to document some of her Hershey's misdemeanours. Eventually she was persuaded to publish these tales so that other youngsters and parents could read or listen to these tales and enjoy them.
