I really like how this book is targeted towards tourist sites that children will enjoy and not find "boring." It covers a wide variety of sites that include famous historical sites in San Francisco, theme parks, city parks, and national parks. There is so much to do in the San Francisco area and this travel book covers the highlights and some others that I wouldn't have thought of.

What I like about this book, and this series, is that these books are sized to fit easily in a purse or backpack. I also like that they are written for kids. The provide educational and fun information on things to do in San Francisco and can even enable your kids to become tour guides by sharing fun facts and suggestions for the next place in the city to visit.

I can truthfully say I wished I had the book when we visited then! Perhaps I'm just a kid at heart. I loved her descriptions of the sights along with the history of them. But, I loved the 'fun facts' the most! She had some good facts that I didn't know or learn when we visited before.
