Hidden in Secrets (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798232886127)

When an unusually high number of fires hit the quiet town of Drake Harbor, newly appointed fire captain, Jack Rivers, suspects arson. The fires seem random at first, but Jack's senses tell him otherwise. The fires burn too hot. The place of origin is undiscernible. And then, while on a call, Jack discovers an accelerant that burns hot and fast, leaving no trace once the fire touches it.

Jen Green moved to Drake Harbor to hide. She found a job at an unassuming antique shop, determined to keep to herself. But when her boss's brother, Jack, begins renovating the antique shop, everything changes. Jack has made no secret of his interest in Jen and despite her efforts to keep her distance, Jen finds herself dreaming of a future with Jack. But with each fire Jack runs off to, those dreams seem just that--dreams.

Jen knows who Jack's arsonist is. she knows why the fires are being set.

Because of her.

He had found her.

Jack is falling for Jen, but she is surrounded by secrets. She has scars. Literal scars from being in a fire. Jack desperately wants to know what happened. What makes her who she is. But as Jack keeps digging into the fires and Jen's life, he discovers Jen knows a lot about fire. A lot. More than most people.

Just what is Jen hiding? And how is she connected to these fires? Because the more Jack learns, the more he's certain Jen knows more about these fires than she's letting on.
