Hidden Secrets on Campus: A Cozy Mystery with a Female Sleuth (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781335003751)

An abandoned greenhouse. A missing student. And an Agatha Christie book club that just might crack a decades-old crime.

At the latest meeting of the Christie Club, hosted by English professor Jo Blue Oliver and her daughter, Millie, Agatha Christie's Nemesis is on the menu--along with delicious treats and fascinating revelations about a real-life cold case in their West Virginia college town.

Jo's mother, Viola, shares the story of a young theater major named Delilah, who disappeared in the 1980s. A nursing home resident claimed she saw a mysterious figure dragging a rolled-up rug. Was Delilah's body inside? Jo Blue can't resist a cliffhanger like that, especially when there's a chance to finally catch a killer and see justice done.

As Jo digs into old news articles and visits the nursing home for clues, a new mystery emerges. College president Riley Coffman--the man Jo is developing complicated feelings for--discovers threatening notes in his home. The messages are disturbing enough, but how did the culprit get inside? Though the two mysteries are separated by decades, they may be connected--by an old campus greenhouse that's slated for demolition.

Just as the cold case resurfaces, so does a web of deadly resentment--along with a killer who thought their perfect crime would stay buried forever...
