In this suspenseful romance from a New York Times-bestselling author, a woman goes undercover to entrap a politician only to fall in love with him.

When aspiring actress Kirsten Soderstrom answers an ad in a Hollywood newspaper, she's hoping for the role of a lifetime. What she gets is a proposition from a covert government agency that wants her to use her acting talents to catch a corrupt senator. Kirsten has no problem taking down a criminal, and she sure could use the paycheck. But as soon as she's up close and personal with Senator Jake Johnson, she can't believe he's capable of wrongdoing. All she sees is a good man--a man she's falling in love with. . . .

Hoping to vindicate Jake, Kirsten attempts to track down the agent who hired her, and discovers she's not working for the US government at all. Now that she knows she's put herself and Jake in danger, she must play the role of a double agent. And it isn't long before she has the KGB, FBI, and CIA on her tail. Now Kirsten must summon all her considerable wits to keep herself and Jake alive.
