Her initial college environmental education was short-circuited, forcing her back into the administrative field. She was determined to secure a college degree, though, and did so in her early forties. This degree allowed her, over time, to direct several organizations. These positions were a perfect fit for her, especially because of her love for and desire to help people.

As she looks back over her life, filled at times with joy and sadness, and often experiencing difficult yet important lessons, God's comfort, care, strength, and leading have always been there. Thus, the title His Perfect Timing flows throughout the pages of her testimony and the many gleanings and ponderings along the way.
