Additionally, the book presents the results of a research study conducted by the author, exploring Hmong leadership in Lao and American politics across the past and present to shape the future of Hmong leadership. The study comprised seven participants, all former civilians and Army leaders. Among them, three had served as high-ranking officers in the Royal Lao Army. One participant held a prominent administrative position within the Royal Lao government, while another served as a minister for the Lao PDR government. One participant was an elected community leader, and another had held an elected office in the United States. All participants were born in Laos and gained exposure to leadership theories during their public service.
