Hope & Ash: Book 1 of The Stones of Vilan (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781764507615)

"We don't have another two hundred years... We can't wait for the prophecy."

Hope faces her final test with no master willing to take her on as an apprentice. Years of bullying from the senior masters have sapped her self-confidence. She knows she will fail.

But when her best and only friend returns, seemingly from the dead, he takes Hope on a journey that will not only challenge her sense of self, but ask her to do the impossible - balance the forbidden power of the Stones of Vilan. The only problem is, she isn't the one chosen by prophecy. And if the wrong person takes the Stones, the world will be destroyed.

Is her friend mad to trust a failure with the fate of the world?

Epic stakes with personal obstacles: Hope & Ash, the first book in a trilogy, is a fantasy novel about a girl whose confidence has been knocked down by years of bullying, but whose best friend wants her to do what no one else can. Will Hope prove her old teachers wrong, and balance the power of the Stones, or will she lose control and destroy everything?
