The Countess of Hopetoun trained as an art historian and is the ch穰elaine of Hopetoun House. Lady Polly Feversham holds degrees in the history of art and architectural conservation. With her husband, she helped to restore and run Duncombe Park in North Yorkshire. Leo Schmidt teaches architectural conservation at BTU, the Brandenburg University of Technology in Cottbus, Germany.
