The dominant theories and techniques making up modern cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) address client behaviors (activities) and their cognitions (thoughts) in great detail. Without these feelings, however, we cannot experience those that enrich our lives: security, forgiveness, well-being, joy, love.
