About the Author

'She is an artist, published poet and author. She returned to education after bringing up her two children and studied Media (word/radio), Communications, English Literature and English Language, obtaining special commendation for her work by William Sterling (BBC-TV Film and Television Producer/Writer, September Film Productions). She is a qualified counsellor and teacher, completing an MA from the University of Leicester in 2013. She was presented with the Lifetime Member Award of the Millennium Association by Rt Hon Tessa Jowell in 2001 in recognition of services to Mental Health through the Arts.
