Brenda Hendrickson, CSA, is an award winning businesswoman and the owner of an accounting and tax firm in New Jersey. As the author of How To Be A Frugal Millionaire, she has taken her experiences in business to discover some secrets as to why some people retire rich while others don't.
After working with a client who was living beyond her means, Brenda had the idea of writing a book on frugality. It was this discovery that led her to add author" to her list of accomplishments...so she could share these ideas with as many people as possible. Her book "How To Be A Frugal Millionaire," challenges everyone to develop a "frugal" mindset.
Her book was published Spring 2008, just as the worst recession since the depression hit. Her message was clear and simple and still is relevant today in 2015. We all need to be frugal in order to survive these present and future economic roller coasters.
She has brought her message as a speaker on such topics as wealth management, tax tips and self publishing to Fairleigh Dickinson University's Business Leaders of Tomorrow and a panelist for its Horizon's Program. She has been featured as an author and tax expert on Cablevision Channel 26 and featured in the Daily Record newspaper of Morris County. She has also been interviewed on radio channels 1450 am, 98.3 fm, and numerous other speaking engagements. She writes several columns, including The Expert Beacon and Vicinity's North Jersey Woman magazine.
She has won the Teal Heart Award from the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners for going above and beyond, NJAWBO Essex 2008 Business Woman of the Year, 2009 NJBIZ 50 Best Business Women in Business, 2010 - 2011 President of NJAWBO Essex Chapter, and currently the Immediate Past President of the Chapter.
She personally volunteers to those who are less fortunate and in need of help. Her projects include the food pantry and hosting homeless families and hopes everyone will do their part in helping others less fortunate and for our environment. "
