How to Fail at Absolutely Everything in 5th Grade: A Field Guide (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798190540543)

Fifth grade is hard. This book makes it harder, on purpose. Written and field-tested by A. Student, an unreliable narrator who has completed fifth grade three times using nothing but the methods inside, this laugh-out-loud, reverse-psychology survival guide teaches kids exactly what NOT to do, and explains it with such total confidence that it almost sounds smart.

Perfect for fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Big Nate, this hilarious illustrated satirical field guide is ideal for reluctant readers, classroom read-alouds, and any kid - or teacher - who needs a laugh-out-loud reminder that failure is funnier than it looks. Ages 8-12. Grades 3-6. Results are not guaranteed. In fact, they are guaranteed not to work. A. Student remains very proud of that.

"I would not recommend this book to anyone." - A school counselor
