A care home or agency Philosophy must be based upon the belief that the Service Users are entitled to be treated as individuals. Their care in their home must not be institutionalised but be safe delivery of the service. To achieve this, the needs of all Service Users must be assessed, and individual care plans are developed from this information which must be signed by the service user and the care management and be made available in the folder so that all carers will have access to it.
