Kathleen Petryshyn graduated from the University of Illinois in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She has spent her life as an educator, teaching children and adults of all ages. Her early teaching career included teaching in public schools, Head Start, and Adult Education Programs in both Kentucky and Illinois. She created a Department of Education in the Kentucky State Mental Hospital and ran a Montessori Teacher Education Program and a Montessori School in California. At one time Kathleen was a Holistic Health Practitioner, Polarity Therapist and studied energy medicine and integrative therapies. Most recently Kathleen has worked as a Postpartum Doula offering non-medical education and support for parents of newborns and as a Licensed Simply Music Piano Teacher. Additionally, Kathleen is an educated and trained public speaker. She is a Dale Carnegie graduate and former Instructor. Having been a teacher for over 40 years, Kathleen delivers her subject matter in an interesting and enthusiastic style.
