My home was a small farm in rural Missouri (hogs, poultry, cows and calves). Our gardens produced what we ate. Less than two dozen people lived in our little town. I attended two one-room schools; one parochial and one public.

I began writing after forty-five years in Christian education teaching and administration. The "Hunting Blue" books make a dozen now published.

Barbara and I have three children, all successful in medical and educational roles. We have thirteen grandkids, five of them great-grands.
