The recipient of fellowships from the Louisiana Division of the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts, her poems have appeared in Poetry, Ploughshares, Copper Nickel, and Barn Owl Review. She teaches English at Southeastern Louisiana University and lives in Covington, Louisiana.
