Glennis Torpey has a long and varied history. She has Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Speech and Drama and taught in college for five years. Feeling she was not doing anything worthwhile she left to join the military. She married an Air Force pilot at a time when the military was not too concerned about keeping couples together. With each of them having orders to a different country she decided to get out and focus on her family. During this period, she became involved in the Charismatic Renewal and began to learn about spiritual deliverance and inner healing. She got another Master's degree in Counseling and practiced in this field for 25 years. As her spiritual walk deepened and she began adding more and more Christian counseling to her practice, she became a licensed minister with the Four Square denomination. The need for inner healing has run as a theme through much of her adult life. This book is her first attempt to share a lifetime of inner healing understanding with others.
