I Choose Love: From Trauma To Tantra. A Woman's Path Toward Conscious Living (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9789916434710)

Something has to change.

After years in a marriage built on lies, fear and manipulation, Freya's carefully constructed life begins to fracture. When she realizes that betrayal has extended beyond infidelity into emotional abuse and financial deception, she is forced to confront how deeply she has lost touch with her own voice and boundaries.

Leaving with little more than emotional wounds and fragile self-worth, Freya steps onto the ancient Camino de Santiago pilgrimage - at first as an escape, and gradually as an unexpected initiation. Each step on the trail becomes a step away from trauma and toward an unknown inner landscape.

Along the road, walking itself becomes transformative. The journey teaches Freya how to listen to her body again, to recognize where her limits lie, and to remain connected without abandoning herself. Later, through contemplative practices inspired by Tantra, she continues this process of grounded self-discovery - learning that awareness, not intensity, is what creates lasting change.

A growing connection with Richard, a man navigating his own vulnerabilities, invites both closeness and reflection rather than rescue or dependence. When the disruptive presence of Freya's sister-in-law Roxanne threatens the fragile balance Freya has begun to build, she must decide what is worth protecting - and what must finally be released.

Faced with public judgment and her own internal doubt, Freya stands at a crossroads: retreat into familiar survival patterns or remain present in the life she is consciously shaping.

I Choose Love: From Trauma to Tantra is a literary novel about recovery, self-respect, and the courage required to choose oneself. Blending the physical journey of pilgrimage with inner transformation, the novel explores how healing unfolds not through escape, but through presence, awareness, and conscious choice.

For readers drawn to emotionally honest women's fiction, spiritual curiosity grounded in real life, and stories of authentic inner growth, this novel offers a quiet yet powerful path forward.
