B R Johnson was born and raised in rural South Georgia. She attended college on the 'graduate by forty' plan and went on to get a Masters in Public Administration three years later at Valdosta State University. Working for over thirty years in the public school system, the local welfare system, and in a Federally funded program after retirement at the local technical college, her emphasis was always on economically disadvantaged clients and their children. There are many stories to tell, but these are completely fabricated. Married with three sons and six grandchildren, writing has always been a hobby, now a calling. Dragging out stories written years ago, rewriting, throwing out and starting over, these stories are some of the results, with more to come.
