And his novel, I Flunked Sunday School, was the inspiration for the independent film of the same name that he co-wrote with the film's director Steve McCurdy. As Executive Producer of the film, Ken was honored when the film was named Best Feature at the Secret City Film Festival in Tennessee in 2006. Ken Bailey is married to actress Patty Tuel Bailey.
