Thomas George Santhinagar is a prolific writer and poet. A published author since the 1970s, he has written numerous stories, poems, articles and essays. He has published two anthologies that have won several awards including the Hindi Prachar Sabha Award in 2014, and the Souhrida Samiti and Navarasam Sangeetha Sabha Awards in 2016. He is also a renowned translator, translating works between English and Malayalam. He has translated more than a dozen books of authors such as Albert Camus, Kazant Zakis, Tomasi De Lampedusa, and Joseph Roth, among others. He is a retired Chief Engineer, who's worked for both the Government of India and the Government of Abu Dhabi for over thirty years. He has traveled extensively in Europe, the United States and China. He currently lives in Trivandrum in picturesque Kerala, India. He is married with two children, and three grandchildren.
