Marilyn Robinson Godfrey has always loved rhyme. Her poems as a child delighted her teachers. As she taught young children, she found that they also loved rhythm, rhyme and delighted in music. Mrs. Godfrey taught school for thirty years, Kindergarten through third grades. Later she started a preschool at a local church, and grew it into a large daycare operation. Mrs. Godfrey lives with her husband, very near her son and his family, on a farm deep in the heart of Texas.
