I Walked on Mars: Book 3 they are coming (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798185537671)

Arcadia has survived. Now it has something new to fear: success.

The first settlers came to Mars to build a permanent human presence. Against the cold, radiation, isolation and dependence on Earth, they turned a fragile outpost into a functioning community.

But Arcadia is no longer alone.

New ships are approaching Mars. They bring people, resources, ambitions and competing visions of what the Red Planet should become. What began as an extraordinary scientific and human adventure is becoming something much larger: a geopolitical frontier. As new settlements emerge and decisions made on Earth reach across millions of miles, David, Stella and the people of Arcadia face questions no mission plan could answer.

Who should govern a growing Martian society ? How much authority should Earth retain over people who must live with the consequences of its decisions ? Can newcomers be welcomed without allowing Arcadia to lose control of the world it has built ? And when cooperation, sovereignty and survival begin to collide, how far will the first settlers go to protect their future ?

I Walked on Mars - Book 3: They Are Coming is the third novel in a four-book near-future hard science fiction series about the construction of the first permanent human settlement on Mars and its transformation from an outpost into a society. The technical challenge of surviving Mars is no longer the only question.

Now the question is who will control it.
