I was in my early twenties when I discovered my chances of having a safe and successful pregnancy were slim. After several years of contemplation, I made the decision to explore adoption. It was during this process that I learned about foster care. For me, the decision was an easy one. The number of children in foster care who needed safe and loving homes far outweighed the number of free and legal adoptable children. So, foster care it was!
