Imminent Threat: An International Spy Thriller (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9780986495922)

If you like Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan or Daniel Silva's Gabriel Allon, you'll enjoy this fast-paced espionage thriller that delivers a pulse-pounding tale of suspense, conspiracy and revenge.

With the United States under imminent threat of attack-possibly involving the highest levels of the Iranian Government-CIA Director Bill Graham turns to the one man he hopes can prevent the devastating slaughter of innocent civilians.

AKIL HASSAN was an elite officer who broke the rules and was fired from the Agency. Being offered a second chance by his one-time mentor, Akil has no intention of letting Bill down. As he begins tracking the terrorist's next move though, he quickly finds himself trapped in a wilderness of mirrors where nothing is what it seems, where his own past threatens to rise up and destroy him, and where trusting those around him could easily prove fatal. But with a biological agent on the loose, a devastating war with Iran on the horizon-and with time running out-he has no choice but to carry on and complete his mission, even if it means breaking the Agency's rules all over again.

PRAISE FOR IMMINENT THREAT:

"Imminent Threat is a wonderful surprise. Daniel Dick's mastery of plot and character, his sense of realism and authoritative writing style herald a rare and exciting new voice in the genre." - Michael Beckner, Screenwriter of Spy Game

"A nail-biter of a thriller, loaded with ultra-relevant issues and themes. Suspenseful, even-handed and well-researched, Imminent Threat puts a frighteningly human face to the threat of terror!" - Daniel Kalla, International Bestselling Author of Pandemic and Cold Plague

"This book is cool, lean, hard-edged, and a runaway freight of a story, but it's also layered, full of rich characters who are completely realized, and the plot is all too plausible and all too real. In short, a damn good book." - David Stone, NYT's Bestselling Author of The Echelon Vendetta
