Deirdre's appreciation for "Great Art" started when she was a little girl. Her father made sure that his family was exposed to museums of many kinds. As a talented photographer himself, he saw the benefit to seeing things from a different perspective and this led his daughter to appreciate many different kinds of art. Deirdre's favorite artist was Ansel Adams with his black and white photographs of landscapes. Only in the last few years has she come to recognize and enjoy the works of many other artists, and in the process has fallen in love with many different kinds of art, especially paintings, both well-known and not so well-known.
