Free passes to the Palladium led to hearing all the great bands, Glenn Miller, Harry James and all the best of that era. Her first breaks were for radio and TV commercials. But life has a way of changing directions and marriage to author husband, Lee Roddy caused many moves that took her away from Hollywood and made acting jobs lesss frequent. When they settled in Northern California, she co-wrote a Harlequin romance novel with her husband and got the writing bug. She found herself turning to writing humor columns for newspapers for over 35 years. She enjoys using writing to vent about the every day experiences that challenge all of us. Cicely and Lee had two children and two grandchildren and loved their life in Northern California
