As I selected pieces for this book, I noticed they spanned my 67 years, which all seem to have happened-as the title states-in the blink of an eye. Many of the eleven stories have to do with God Incidences or as some call "God Winks". The others reveal how an attitude change, a sense of humor and perseverance made a meaningful difference in my way of thinking.

Alta is a 67 year-old wife, mother and grandmother. While a child as well as today, when there is/was conflict in her home, she finds/found comfort in reading and writing. Alta has had a few pieces printed in the Plus and Angels on Earth Magazines, which are published by Guidepost Magazine. Besides reading and writing, Alta also enjoys watching her grandchildren's ball games, tumbling events and concerts. She loves for them to visit her home, where they play games, paint and bake cookies and brownies. When she's not busy with her grandkids, she takes pleasure in caring for her flower garden.
