Adrienne Ross is a native Californian. She was educated at LACC, UCB, UCLA, The New School, and the University of Minnesota. Her writings have been published in Hayden's Ferry Review, Ascent, Wisconsin Review, and Prairie Schooner, and in the anthologies The Time of Our Lives, and Not Quite What I Was Planning. The California Arts Council awarded her a Literary Fellowship. Ms. Ross has worked as a secretary, statistician, therapist, scientific editor, librarian, high school teacher, and political activist. She is a fan of movies, classical music, big, difficult novels, political discourse, Japanese maples, and Japanese prints. She lives in rural northern California, near the ocean.
