Ephrain Tristan Ortiz, MCEd, is headmaster of the De la Vega Language Academy and teaches English as a second language to businessmen and individuals in the San Jose area in California. A graduate bfrom UC Davis and bNational University, Ephrain holds a Masters degree in Christian Education and is a doctoral candidate in the same field. Ephrain greatly loves and respects the Jewish culture; he is a student of Modern and Biblical Hebrew in addition to being fluent in Spanish and English. He has served in leadership positions within the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and Mission Maranatha, where he has taught adult Sunday School Bible classes and participated in local evangelization efforts. He has also completed extensive training in prayer ministry through the New Pentecostal Catholic Institute and Christ the King Church, and is a contributing author for the websites heyitsallaboutjesus.org and stopgiantsintheirtracks.com. Ephrain is also well acquainted with the Asian culture; he holds a sixth degree Black Belt in Kempo Ninjitsu and holds instructor ranking in Japanese and Chinese Martial Arts, certification in body guarding/close protection and is a trainer in Israeli Combat & Physical Sciences.
