This lovely book of poems is my 4th collection out of 11 published works. These free-verse poems celebrate STILLNESS, solitude and silence--as ways of being in the world, and as spiritual disciplines in themselves.

Poetry, especially when it intersects with our hope in God, speaks a good word. It can be a timely pause in our day, a way to draw near the things that matter, to our heart. Poetry can bring a measure of peace to our day, open a portal to where we need to go, to find strength for the journey.

I'm a professional writer and contemplative Christian poet and speaker. My poetry has also been published in various journals; these include Crux, Ekstasis, Transition Mental Health Journal, Presence, Prairie Messenger and Island Writer among others.
