Tommy Attaway is a graduate of Texas A&M University (Philosophy and History double major), a former Armor officer (Assistant Brigade Operations Officer, Tank Battalion Operations Officer, and the usual company / platoon leader assignments). Currently, he is an Executive Director of Freedom Texas (one of the organizations working toward Texas independence). He is a native Texan, initially living in a town with a stop sign, stop light, and a four way flasher. Tommy has lived in Europe for 12 years, with German as his second language. In the private sector, he has worked in the technology sector, both with start up companies and a large billion dollar annual revenue outsourcing provider. Tommy was also on the campaign staff of Ross Perot's 1992 Presidential campaign. Independence! is his second novel, and is designed to be the second of a three part series.
