Traci Sorell is a two-time Sibert Medal and Orbis Pictus honoree, as well as a recipient of the Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor and the Jane Addams Children's Book Honor Award. Eight of her books have received awards from the American Indian Library Association. A former federal Indigenous law attorney and policy advocate, Traci is a Cherokee Nation citizen and first-generation college graduate. Natasha Donovan is a Métis & white illustrator originally from Vancouver, Canada, with a focus on comics and children's illustration. Her many books include When the Stars Came Home by Brittany Luby, the Surviving the City graphic novel series by Tasha Spillett, and Classified: The Secret Career of Mary Golda Ross, Cherokee Aerospace Engineer by Traci Sorell, which won an American Indian Library Association Youth Literature Award Honor.
