Daquan Henry is a Poet, Writer, Author, Motivational Speaker and Personal Trainer. I was born on June 23 1991, and raised in Brooklyn, New York. My passion stems from the roots of my family, especially from my Mother. My mother who like me, has a passion for poetry, is single-handedly the most influential individual in my life. I credit my mother, being that her talent "was passed down to me". Poetry has interested me from an early age. I started writing poetry and fine tuning my art since the 6th grade. What are my reasons for writing? I write not only to express myself, but to uplift and enlighten as many individuals as I can. Life has the power to motivate us, or push us to feel alone when we encounter it's obstacles and challenges. The moment we know another individual can relate to our situation, it manifests internal comfort, in which our mind finds peace. What is my goal?
