Born and raised in the Bronx to the parents of Elmore and Dora Dickerson, Dwight has been writing poetry and composing music since the age of 7. Dwight is an accomplished musician receiving his training from Yale University in New Haven, CT., Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ma. and Howard University in Washington, D. C. Dwight holds a MA in Community Psychology from the University of New Haven and a BA in Sociology from Yale University. When Dwight is not writing, playing or composing music, he takes on the role as a Community Psychologist and President / CEO of Tri-Cord LLC New Haven, an "Empowerment Training Group" dedicated to empowering individuals with the tools to be successful.
