But before societal problems can be tackled the social wellbeing of the citizens has to be guaranteed; otherwise, other activities are mere waste of time and resources. This is because all societal problems are caused by man in his search for social security. In other words, the book contends that the question of social insecurity has to be addressed first before any other thing if society needs peace and sustainable development.
