instead of therapy: poems and lyrics about struggling and healing (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798849310428)

"When I started this project, I never thought I would be brave enough to have my struggles with mental health, body image, and life in general out in the world for everyone to read. Writing poetry and song lyrics was only supposed to be a way to help me start healing and processing many things that happened throughout my life. But, when I began to share my songs and poems with a few trusted people in my life, I realized what an impact my words could have on someone else."

instead of therapy: poems and lyrics about struggling and healing explores themes of the struggles with mental health, body image, trauma, and the start of healing. Sometimes, you don't realize what someone is going through until they let you in.
