Keira Lynn Dodd grew up in the wilds of Pennsylvania as the oldest of five children. Her obsession with reading quickly grew into an obsession with writing, too. She earned her Bachelor's degree in English at Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, and after a bit of wandering, earned her Masters in Education at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to this book, she's also the author of A Pantomime of Possibility, a book of poems she published in 2013. She currently lives with her two girls, their dog Reggie, and their cats Abby and Lacy, in Lakewood, Ohio, and she teaches at North Olmsted High School, specializing in Advanced Placement.
